Sending a Workflow

With Mako, you can easily send forms to clients to be completed and signed electronically. 

How to send a workflow to clients:

  • Login to the Mako Advisor Portal.
  • Select the Workflows tab in the side bar, and the type of workflow (e.g., individual, entity, joint).
  • Select the Send icon.
  • Fill in the form by searching for the appropriate Fund and Investor in the Search fields.
  • Fill in the form with the signatory's email and a message.
  • Scroll to the bottom of the screen, then click the Next Signatory button and repeat the previous steps for the subsequent signatories.
  • Once all the required information is filled in, select the Submit icon in the bottom right corner.
  • The first signatory (the advisor in this example) will receive an email with a link to the form which they should click.
  • The first signatory (the advisor in this example) can now fill out the form, selecting Next to move on to the next pages of the form.
Note: Please ensure that all the fields are properly filled out. If the fields are missed or not filled out correctly, an error sign will pop up and the signatory will have to complete the missed or incorrect fields.
  • Once the form is filled out, the signatory can select Review Forms in the bottom right-hand corner.

 

  • Once the Review Forms button is clicked, the forms will populate with all the entered data.
  • The signatory should review the forms and select Approve to approve the form or Back to edit any of the entered data. Once approved, a message will display indicating that the form was submitted successfully.

An email will be sent to the subsequent signatory and the previous step will be repeated until all signatories have filled, reviewed and approved the forms. Once all the signatories complete their forms, the advisor will receive an email notification informing them that the completed form is ready to be reviewed.
