How It Works

  1. Prefill client information. Smart validation and data feeds ensure phone numbers and addresses are entered correctly.
  2. After the prefiling step, custom notes are sent to the signatories. Built-in e-signatures are secure and intuitive.
  3. Clients are notified and easily complete their onboarding forms on a computer or phone. Mako only shows your clients the sections they need to complete, depending on their circumstances.
  4. The client reviews the form, adds any required information, and provides supporting documents by upload or with their phone camera. We produce all required onboarding forms instantly.
  5. Data is stored and harmonized to automatically pre-fill future KYC forms and other documents. You track, review and approve forms and ID/AML lookup results in your Mako dashboard, onboarding clients without in-person meetings.

How It Works

  1. Upload investor data
    Bulk upload investor data through our easy to use template file, or use existing Mako data.
  2. Data validation
    Validate the prepopulated data in our interface and select all the clients you wish to repaper.
  3. Processing
    Our Solutions Engineers map all related fields to the ones required by the new custodian.
  4. Final delivery
    With most custodians, straight-through processing is available and the change is done directly in the custodian backend. Otherwise, a file export is made available to be sent to the custodian.
