Adding Advisor Portal Employees

This article will walk you through how to add Employees to their respective Advisor Portal in just a few steps.

Log on to the Admin Portal

  • The link to access your Admin portal will be unique to your Firm

Select the "Advisors" tab

  • Select the “Advisors” tab . Once you are there, select “Add New Advisor”

Add Employee Details

  • First, enter the appropriate Firm the employee should be added to
    • If the firm is not available, you’ll need to submit a Freshdesk ticket to have it added
  • Second, enter the employee’s first name, last name, & email address
  • Third, select the role as “Admin”

Add Rep Codes

  • Once the employee has been created, select the firm as shown below that the employee was added to
  • Next, select the employee that was just added
  • Once you’ve selected the employee, you will be able to edit their profile
  • You’ll select “+ New Field” and under “Type to search properties,” you’ll type in Advisor Rep Code; select the dropdown when it appears
  • In the “Type Value” field, you’ll then add in the rep codes this employee will have access to
  • All rep codes must be formatted as an array. Example:
    • Employee with access to multiple rep codes 123, ABC, 456 → [“123”, “ABC”, “456”]
    • Employee with access to a single rep code 123 → [“123”]

Edit/Modify Rep Codes

  • You can modify the rep codes for an employee by selecting “edit” under their profile

Employee Access

  • Employees will then login using the link they received in their email
  • The login will direct them to their domain where they will have access to workflows and Investor information based on the rep codes associated to them
