We're excited to introduce In-Person Signing, a new feature that allows advisors to review and sign documents with investors face-to-face, directly within Mako.

Whether you're onboarding a new client, conducting a KYC update, reviewing a financial plan, or helping an investor subscribe to a new product, In-Person Signing makes it easy to complete paperwork during the meeting itself. Advisors can open a workflow, hand a tablet or device to the client, and guide them through the required forms in a seamless, compliant experience.

How to Get Started

Using In-Person Signing is simple:

  1. Launch a workflow and navigate to the response.
  2. Select the signatory who will be signing in person.
  3. Change the signing method from Remote to In-Person.
  4. Enter the host email address of the employee who will be present with the signer.
  5. The host will receive a signing link and can begin the signing session directly from Mako.
  6. Review documents together, collect signatures, and complete the workflow in real time.
