Investor certificates are created in the Mako platform and instantly linked to their profile.
There are two ways to create and edit an investor’s certificates:
- Using the Certificates section
- Using the Investors section
To create an investor's certificate from the Certificates section:
- From the Main Menu, select Certificates, then select the certificate type (Bond/Fund/Stock).
- To create a certificate, scroll to the bottom of the page and click Create New Certificate.
- Enter the required information and click Save. The certificate will be instantly linked to the investor's account.
To edit an investor's certificate from the Certificates section:
- Scroll all the way to the right and click View/Edit Data for the investor’s certificate you want to view.
- Select the field you wish to edit and click Edit Certificate when done; the changes will be saved.
Note: The Certificate ID field cannot be modified. Any changes applied will be tracked in the certificate’s audit trail.
To create an investor's certificate from the Investors section:
- From the Main Menu, select Investors.
- Click on View/Edit Data for the investor.
- Go to Certificate Data and select the type of certificate you want to create/edit.
- To create a certificate, click Create New Certificate.
- Enter the required information and click Save. The certificate will be instantly linked to the investor's account.
To edit an investor's certificate from the Investors section:
- To edit a certificate, click View/Edit Data for the investor’s certificate you want to view.
- Click Edit Certificate when done; the changes will be saved.
